Beyond energy, our non-oil and gas divisions focus on galvanized products and OEM parts.
Role Objective
We are seeking a Business Development Manager who combines technical understanding with genuine relationship-building skills. You’ll work across multiple industrial and energy sectors — from OEM and oil & gas to heat exchanger, boiler, and solar applications — developing business within a defined Canadian territory.
This role is designed for someone who knows how to build trust over conversations, site visits, and client dinners, not just cold calls. You’ll work closely with our Sector Managers, Technical Estimators, and Commercial Analysts to align strategies and ensure a seamless client experience from inquiry to delivery.
- Develop and grow business across industrial and energy sectors in your assigned Canadian region.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with OEMs, EPCs, and end users through consistent engagement — both in-person and through ongoing communication.
- Host and attend client meetings, lunches, and industry events to strengthen partnerships.
- Conduct occasional regional travel for plant visits and exhibitions (moderate travel, primarily within Canada).
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate proposals.
Track market trends, pricing, and competitor activity to support business strategy.
- 5–8 years of experience in industrial or technical sales — ideally in Drill Pipe, piping, mechanical systems, or energy equipment.
- Strong technical fluency and comfort working with engineering, maintenance, and procurement teams.
- Confident, approachable communicator with a consultative and relationship-driven sales style.
- Organized and proactive, capable of managing multiple opportunities across sectors.
- Based in Alberta with flexibility for light regional travel.
- Base Salary: $90,000–$1,25,000 CAD, depending on experience.
- Performance Bonus / Commission: Available based on results.
