About This Job

Job Description

•

Draft engineering design drawings using AutoCAD for utilities and telecom projects

•

Create CAD drawings from concept stage to final design

•

Assist in the preparation of project related drawings, documents

•

Liaise with technical staff and clients

•

Performs other related duties as required

Job Requirements:

•

Couple of years of experience using AutoCAD software related to utility and Telecom designs

•

Must be proficient using AutoCAD, experience working with paperspace, customizing scripts and tools

•

Experience with underground and overhead hydro and telecom design projects would be an asset.

•

Good understanding of related industry standards such as CSA, ESA and Regulation 22/04

•

Self-motivated, excellent verbal, written and communication skills, ability to learn new skills

•

College diploma in Architect, electrical, civil program

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

•
8 hour shift

Work Location: In person
