Job description

Lotspeich Co. of Florida, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Door & Hardware Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage various projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of the Division 8 construction processes. This role requires effective project coordination, ensuring that all aspects of the project are executed efficiently and within established timelines.

Salary is contingent on experience level. Bonus opportunities are available.

The ideal candidate will have a sound working knowledge of:

•

KD and Masonry door frames

•

Interior and exterior metal & wood doors

•

Concealed and surface-mounted panic devices

•

Closers, concealed and surface-mounted overhead stops

•

All types of commercial locks and commercial and electric hardware

Requirements:

•

Proficiency in construction management software.

•

Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction site operations.

•

Ability to prepare a comprehensive estimate and proposal for the G.C. or owner

•

Possess good sales abilities, including being able to negotiate job costs (material and labor) to help ensure an award

•

Manage and coordinate the job successfully with other “in-house” divisions

•

Ability to interpret costs related to the project

•

Review project costs and change orders with Field Management to ensure profitability and excellence of work

•

Attend construction related events, meetings and seminars pertaining to our scope of work

•

Manage subordinate superintendents and provide overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units
