Vice President of Sales
KSB GIW, Inc. is seeking a driven, results-oriented District Sales Manager to expand our presence in the mining sector, delivering both slurry and non-slurry pump solutions. This role is ideal for a technically inclined sales professional looking to make a meaningful impact in a territory across the Southeast U.S.
You’ll play a pivotal role in growing market share, managing sales channels, and serving as a trusted advisor to customers in the mining industry. If you’re energized by challenge, motivated by results, and ready to travel to build relationships, we want to hear from you.
Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, site visits, referrals, and networking within the mining and industrial sectors.
Manage the end-to-end sales process—from initial contact to closing—meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Build strong, lasting partnerships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored pump solutions.
Regular travel throughout the Southeast U.S. to visit customer sites, conduct product presentations, and attend industry events.
Offer basic technical guidance on product selection, operation, and maintenance of pump systems.
Support and oversee external sales reps and distributor networks as needed to ensure alignment with territory goals.
Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline forecasts. Provide regular updates on performance and market insights to leadership.

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business, Mining, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum 1 year of sales or customer-facing experience, ideally in pumps, industrial equipment, or mining supply.
• Basic technical knowledge of pump systems and their application in mining or heavy industry.
• Proven comfort with cold calling and developing new business from the ground up.
• Willing and able to travel up to 60% within the territory.
• Experience working with sales reps or distributors.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
• Technical curiosity and a willingness to grow your understanding of pumps and mining operations.
