Sales Representative Manager

Are you passionate about renewable energy and eager to make a positive impact on your community? We're seeking a dynamic and results-driven Community Solar Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in connecting residential Xcel customers with the benefits of local community solar farms and helping home owners schedule rooftop solar consultations.

No experience necessary, but a willingness to learn and desire to earn are required! We'll provide you with industry training so that you can help customers save money on their electricity costs.

Role type: Full time; Sales Representative Manager

Pay: Base Pay + Weekly Commission; Weekly Bonus

Key Responsibilities

- Present and sell company products and services to utility customers

- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities

- Achieve individual standards with community solar enrollments & home solar leads

- Effectively utilize applications provided

- Teach scripts and techniques to new hires

- Eventually, lead a team of 5-10 Representatives

- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to get around Minnesota.

- Availability to travel 6 (or more) days monthly

- Sales Experience: Previous sales experience is a plus but not mandatory.

- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse customers.

- Self-Motivated: A self-starter with the ability to work independently, handle rejection and manage time effectively.

- Flexibility: Willingness to learn new knowledge and skills, plus adapt to a dynamic and evolving industry.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
