Job Summary
AEP’s customers are actively considering, pursuing, and/or adopting distributed energy resources technologies and are considering enrollment in utility programs that support affordability, reliability, and clean energy. This role is responsible for providing the necessary support of end-to-end management of assets and programs led or supported by AEP’s Commercial Operations team. Other responsibilities include supporting the development of new flexible load programs, recommending enhancements to existing programs, and contributing to the execution of all aspects of the DER Orchestration business.

Based on education, experience and interview evaluation, this opportunity will be filled commensurately at any title. For this posting, minimum requirements are stated at the lower grade. Increased expectations are at the higher grade.
Analyst (grade 7) = Education: Associate’s degree in technology, business, engineering, or other technical fields. Experience: Minimum of 3 years utility or related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:* Bachelor’s degree preferredAnalyst Sr (grade 8) = Education: Bachelor’s degree in technology, business, engineering, or another technical field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years utility or related experience. Preferred Qualifications:* Advanced degree preferred
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Responsible for the onboarding, management, and advancement of DER Orchestration products and associated assets.
