Overview
The Distributed Resource Integration ("DRI") team seeks a highly motivated individual with strong communication, research, and organization skills to serve in a key role as a Clean Energy Specialist Quality Assurance for the team.The DRI organization is responsible for managing Company needs related to the changing utility environment primarily driven by the New York Public Service Commission, Federal and State regulations, and customer demands. Activities support the Company's role in achieving New York State's clean energy goals set by the Reforming the Energy Vision ("REV") and Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act ("CLCPA").Accordingly, the Clean Energy Specialist Quality Assurance will lead quality assurance efforts across regulatory filings and other projects in the group. The primary objective of this role is to support the DRI teams in organizing and tracking regulatory filings and reporting, as well as for other materials relating to CLCPA, electrification, and Distributed Energy Resource ("DER") integration. This position will track reporting and filing requirements, maintain reporting procedures, track the Company's clean energy commitments, and support the CEO Certification program for DRI.The candidate will be organized, detail oriented, flexible to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
•Organize and track regulatory filings and materials related to CLCPA, electrification, and DERs.
•Assist with conducting reviews to identify and evaluate risks, process improvement opportunities, and adherence to Organizational compliance.
•Coordinate and collaborate with SMEs from multiple DRI teams as well as external groups.
•Follow proceeding status and update from the NYPSC and NJBPU.
•Assist DRI members to assess work processes; including, but not limited to, reviewing procedures and records, using quality management tools, identifying, and connecting to source data, and determining/or recommendations for improvements related to the subject matter.
•Perform independent research related to the electric power industry.
•Assemble information into presentations for effective communication, including to senior executives, regulators, and external stakeholders.
•Assist in the development and management of reviews and updates to procedures for new and existing business processes.
•Perform other related tasks and assignments as required to support the DRI team.
•Support the CEO Certification program for DRI.
Qualifications
Required Education/Experience
•Bachelor's Degree Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering or equivalent and two years of relevant work experience
Relevant Work Experience
•One to two years of experience in the utility industry and a strong demonstrated capability to understand strategic issues in the utility/energy industry, required.
•Excellent verbal and written communications skills, required.
•Ability to compile/ analyze and synthesize information into presentations and reports, required.
•Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, apply individual judgment, initiative and decision making, required.
•Strong interpersonal skills necessary to interact with various internal subject matter experts, requried.
•Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, etc., required.
•Experience with data and document tracking, preferred.
•Demonstrated analytical data management skills, preferred.
•Work experience that includes Engineering or Regulatory/Policy, preferred.
•Project management experience, preferred.
•A good working knowledge of electric and gas transmission/distribution systems, preferred.

Additional Physical Demands
•Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
•Must be able to work in the Company service territory and travel to other CECONY/O&R locations, as needed
