Job Summary
The Strategic Dispatcher is responsible for optimizing daily schedules, assigning resources efficiently, and ensuring field operations run smoothly to maximize revenue. This position requires strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, and the ability to balance customer needs with company goals. As the central hub of communication between field teams and office staff, you will help drive the success of Rogers Heating & Cooling by ensuring every service call is completed efficiently and profitably.
Key Responsibilities
•Optimize Dispatching: Analyze service requests and technician availability to strategically schedule and dispatch calls that maximize revenue while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
•Revenue Focus: Prioritize jobs and allocate resources to maximize billable hours and minimize downtime for field staff.
•Efficient Scheduling: Design efficient service routes that reduce travel time, minimize costs, and increase technician productivity.
•Real-Time Adjustments: Monitor real-time updates and adjust schedules dynamically to respond to emergencies, delays, or high-priority requests.
•Collaboration: Work closely with sales, customer service, and technical teams to align scheduling with company revenue targets.
•Customer Interaction: Provide clear and timely communication to customers about appointment schedules, delays, or service updates.
•Data Analysis and Reporting: Track performance metrics such as response times, job completion rates, and revenue generated per service call. Present insights and recommendations for process improvements to management.
•Continuous Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in dispatch operations and propose solutions to enhance productivity and profitability.
Qualifications
•Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required); associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, operations, or related field (preferred).
•Minimum of 2 years of dispatching, scheduling, or operations experience.
•Prior experience in HVAC, logistics, or service industries is a plus.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on maximizing revenue.
•Excellent communication and organizational skills.
