Director, Utility Regulatory Support - REMOTE

Description

We’re looking for someone with a unique and specific skillset involving technology, utilities, and regulatory experience. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of regulatory proceedings and has significant experience in all phases of the regulatory and rate case life cycles. They’d have experience writing testimony, researching precedent, and helping utility clients with regulator relationships.

The candidate must also have deep experience with the business case life cycle, portfolio management, demand management, and benefit realization analysis.

An ideal candidate knows what regulators want to see and how to best present information in a consumable and informative manner for executives, PSC, and clients. They would be able to demonstrate involvement in significant capital recovery at more than one utility or in more than one jurisdiction.

How You’ll Help

- Act as a steward of regulatory relationships, processes, and deliverables

- Research and apply findings across case precedent in multiple jurisdictions

- Prepare rate case testimony and artifacts

- Prepare comprehensive business cases, estimates, and requirements analysis

What Will Make You a Great Fit

- 3+ years regulatory experience across multiple jurisdictions - 8+ years utilities experience

- Governance and strategy experience is a plus

- IT experience is a plus

The Budgeted Salary For This Position Is

$200,000 - $245,000 USD + annual bonus.

Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

This role will be 100% remote, with infrequent travel (generally 3-4 times per year).
