We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Director of Finance and Operations to serve as the right-hand partner to the market unit president. This role will be pivotal in driving profitable growth within the business unit by combining deep financial expertise with a strong operational mindset. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who not only understands finance but also how the business operates, and who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

How You’ll Help

- Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) for the business unit, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.

- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards, reporting, and insights to guide executive decision-making.

- Provide thought partnership to the business unit president on financial strategy, operational efficiency, and profitability.

- Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting and business performance updates for internal leadership and board-level visibility.

- Translate financial insights into operational recommendations that directly impact growth, margin, and resource allocation.

- Support the business unit through periods of acquisition and integration, helping to align financial and operational processes as the company scales.

What Will Make You a Great Fit

- Eight or more years of progressive finance and operations experience, with a strong background in FP&A.

- Proven experience in professional services or similar client-focused industries.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to connect financial outcomes to operational drivers.

- Experience in M&A and post-acquisition integration is a plus.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly to senior leadership.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment with evolving priorities.

- Collaborative, strategic, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work across functions.

- Experience in an M&A or integration environment will be considered a valuable plus.

- People-management experience is a plus.

The Budgeted Salary For This Position Is

- $160,000–180,000 USD + annual bonus. - $189,000-254,000 CAD + annual bonus.

Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

This role will be 100% remote, with infrequent travel.
