Join Our Team as a Transmission Planning Director!

Are you someone who thrives on solving complex engineering challenges and enjoys mentoring others along the way? We’re looking for a Director of Transmission Planning to join our team and lead the charge in evaluating and enhancing the performance of transmission systems.

In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of analyzing how power systems behave—whether it’s under steady-state conditions or during dynamic events. You’ll dive into studies like power flow, transient stability, and short circuit analysis, while also exploring areas like harmonics, economics, and power quality. Your insights will help ensure the reliability and efficiency of the bulk power system.

But this role isn’t just about technical expertise—it’s also about leadership. You’ll guide a talented team of engineers, helping them grow their skills and confidence. You’ll manage projects from start to finish, making sure they stay on track, on budget, and aligned with client expectations. And you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our department by contributing to strategic planning, resource management, and business development.

You’ll also be the kind of person who enjoys building strong relationships—whether that’s with clients, team members, or other departments. You’ll help us maintain a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
