Q CELLS Home Energy Solutions seeks an experienced program management professional to spearhead strategic initiatives for the residential retrofit team. As the Director, Program Management, you will be responsible for documenting standard operating procedures, streamlining processes, supporting new product launches, and leading all program wide changes or enhancements. Major responsibilities include leading new market expansion by researching state and local requirements for market entry, supporting digital enhancements and software development by working cross functionally with operations, sales, and the digital team. This is a key leadership position with the responsibility for enhancing operational excellence and further developing the fulfillment infrastructure to scale nationally. The ideal candidate is an experienced program management professional with strong analytical skills, great with people and better at identifying opportunities in process improvement, workflow automation, process documentation, and strong leadership skills.
This position will be based out of one of our offices in Irvine, CA or San Francisco, CA with a potential in-office schedule set at the direct manager’s discretion in accordance with the company policies and procedures.
- Lead all market expansion efforts by holding key stakeholder meetings, assigning out action items to relevant stakeholders, and driving completion of action items on project plan through detailed tracking and follow-up.
- Research state and local requirements for new target markets to operate as a residential solar provider.
- Ensure that all required licenses and certifications are obtained to be compliant
- Lead digital initiatives by partnering with sales and operations and communicating business needs to platform/digital team.
- Develop and enhance standard operating procedures through workflow automation, field form creation, and parallel workflows.
- Document standard operating procedures and organize document management system for ease of access.
- Build a workforce planning model to help forecast future hiring needs.
- Develop forecasting tools to help forecast and predict throughput and production.
- Create reports and dashboards to monitor the health of the business.
- Analyze data to proactively identify bottlenecks and come up with solutions to improve throughput and speed from contract sign to cash collection.
- Identify opportunities for system integration between company CRM and 3rd party CRM to reduce human entry and manual uploads.
- Build and lead team of program associates.
- Analyze, continuously monitor, and manage team performance.
- Assist with the development of new product rollouts including managing strategic communication to stakeholders.- Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years’ work experience of a proven track record with at least 8+ years’ experience as a Senior leader in residential solar operations and or program management.
