The Director of Training and Technical Support is responsible for developing, implementing, and leading the company’s splice training programs and technical support initiatives. This role combines strategic program development with hands-on training and field support to ensure high-quality splice performance, enhance distributor and customer relationships, and resolve technical challenges.

Work Schedule:
Full-time, minimum 40 hours per week
- Design, develop, and maintain splice training materials and programs tailored for employees, distributors, and customers.
- Deliver technical splice training sessions internally and externally to ensure consistent application of best practices.
- Troubleshoot splice issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct site visits to end users across the U.S. to provide on-site technical support and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, engineers, OEMs, and corporate buyers to serve as the primary technical resource.
- Partner with internal leadership to align training and technical support programs with company objectives.
- Continuously assess and improve training methods, tools, and technical documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Training, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of experience in technical training, field service, or product support roles, preferably in splicing or related industries.- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to perform root cause analysis.
- Excellent presentation, training, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to travel extensively within the U.S. to support customers and distributors.
