Director of Operations

LRE (Leeward Renewable Energy) is a high-growth renewable energy company forging a sustainable future through integrity, innovation, and positive impact. We own and operate 30 large wind, solar, and energy storage projects across the United States, totaling over 3 gigawatts (GW) of generating capacity.

LRE has an ambitious goal of 10GW of operating assets by 2028 and are developing and contracting an increasing pipeline of new projects every year. Leeward Renewable Energy is currently seeking an experienced Director of Operations to manage the operations, energy yield and costs of wind and solar projects across the Leeward fleet. This includes managing site safety, support site personnel with managing daily site activities, coordination and communication with offtakers, interfacing with various other departments within Operations, and being responsible for the financial performance of various wind and solar projects in the Mid-West and Eastern part of the US. Provides guidance for the site managers and works to enforce fleet and regulatory standards. This position can work from remote, but the preferred location is the Dallas, Texas office.
