The Director of Finance plays a critical leadership role in overseeing the financial health and strategy of the organization. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of financial planning and analysis, budgeting, accounting, cash management, and internal controls. Working closely with senior leadership, the Director of Finance provides the financial insights and discipline necessary to drive sound business decisions and ensure sustainable growth. This role also leads and develops the accounting and transaction teams.
- Develop and manage financial plans, forecasts, and budgets aligned with strategic objectives
- Serve as a key business partner to executive leadership, offering insights on financial performance, risks, and opportunities
- Lead financial analysis and modeling to support decision-making, investments, and operational improvements
- Oversee timely and accurate preparation of financial reports, statements, and dashboards
- Monitor financial performance against budget and provide variance analysis and corrective recommendations
- Collaborate with operations, sales, and procurement teams to align financial goals with business activities
- Supervise the accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end/year-end close
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and all regulatory requirements
- Oversee accounting, financial reporting, and tax functions to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Coordinate annual audits and manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors
- Manage cash flow and liquidity planning, including banking relationships and treasury functions
- Monitor working capital and optimize use of financial resources
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls
- Oversee the use and enhancement of financial systems and ERP platforms
- Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff
- Establish clear goals, monitor performance, and support professional development of the team

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (required)
- CPA and/or MBA preferred
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive finance/accounting experience, including 3+ years in a leadership or director-level role- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis required
