Key Business Objectives:
USA Compression is seeking an experienced Director of Finance to join our team full-time. This is a full-time exempt position based in the Corporate Headquarters, Dallas, Texas. The candidate must be a highly collaborative, solutions-driven, and strategic thinker. The position will report to the chief financial officer.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Lead annual budget and reconciliation process, including actuals versus forecasts.
•Manage the operational reporting and analytics team, including regional capital, profit and loss reporting, and enhancements of business data tools.
•Develop a longer-term financial plan
•Support the investor relations team, including peer analysis, institutional investor and sell-side relationships, presentation content, and web design.
•Regularly interact with commercial banking, investment banking, and rating agencies to support capital markets and treasury efforts.
•Support corporate planning and strategy efforts, including A&D/M&A analysis and board presentations.
•Support SAP implementations and enhancements for YE 2025 and 1H 2026.
•Any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
•Full-time exempt position.

•Occasional travel to field locations of 15% may be required.

Skills/Capabilities and Education:
•Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
•Familiarity with ERP and advanced analytic platforms.
•8+ years of direct experience in several of the above areas with a deep understanding of financial planning, project finance, capital strategy, and risk frameworks.
•Energy experience, particularly in upstream, midstream, or services, preferred.
•Previous managerial experience, particularly in forecasting, planning, and analysis, is preferred.
•Highly motivated and driven with the ability to deliver end product both individually and managerially.
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills with regular interactions with a variety of individuals, including investors, the field, senior management, and the board.
