The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from: $153,000 - $210,000
Job Summary:
The Director of Compliance & Operational Performance will be responsible for the team that will identify, monitor, evaluate and consistently address operational and process performance through efficient data analytics solutions. In monitoring regulatory compliance, the position will oversee the identification of opportunities for improvement, efficiently tracking and risk-management supporting to the organization and assists businesses owners with development and implementation of strategies of corrective action plans. This position requires a strong blend of operations performance and people management skills with the ability to lead in-depth analyses, champion strategic ideas/opportunities to execution and identify strategic opportunities. The position is global in scope overseeing all 6 Operational Companies’ processes, and so requires a high-level of interaction with the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
•Coordinate the development and communication of key performance indicators/dashboards.
•Define the strategy to actively use data analytics to appropriately measure, analyze, and evaluate methods to accurately identify and document improvements.
•Oversee the performance report to Leadership in Corporate and Field locations.
•Transform the use of data and implemented tools as decision-making guidelines across Avangrid.
•Coordinate the database maintenance of tracking and reporting progress and performance to key stakeholders.
•Guide the update, communication on, and organization compliance with company quality assurance, and operational standards.
•Collaborate with the business by discussing operational metrics regularly with leadership and providing detailed understanding of performance for the function.
•Oversee the development and support execution of action plans to mitigate and/or eliminate issues.
•Ensure that proper internal oversight and regulatory risk mitigation controls are in place.
•Motivate operational efficiencies by collaborating with all Gas Business teams to improve processes and procedures.
•Manage the identification and best practices sharing for all stakeholders.
•Advise on businesses owners requests and provide strategic and operational analysis/impact.
•Grow the Continuous Improvement culture across the company.
•Contribute to the overall strategic goals through thought leadership, collaboration, and personal contributions.
•Maximize the results in the strategic value chain by establishing the short, medium, and long-term strategies aligning the actions of the area with Avangrid's strategic planning and legislation.
•Build effective strategies and mechanisms to lead the teams through changes, and influence other groups.
•Lead, plan, organize, and control resources and protocols to achieve goals and deliver changes.

Experience/Training:
•Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
•Minimum of 10+ year’s total professional experience.
•Relevant experience in roles focused on use of Continuous Improvement tools and similar methodologies.
•Experience in project management and turnaround/efficiency/transformation projects implementation.
•Experience in leading teams and/or leadership programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience working in a global organization balancing collaboration and coordination between global and local initiatives, reporting best practices and recommendations.
