A Snapshot of Your Day

Member of the management team, you will lead the engineering team and will be responsible for implementing Engineering policies and guidelines, managing, and coordinating all Engineering activities in the distribution transformers business: design, instructions, development (R&D), the technical offer for the product, and related activities.

How You’ll Make an Impact

- You will manage Engineering team, and lead, motivate and develop dedicated employees in the team.

- You will implement guidelines and define functional specific policies, processes, or methods to fulfill the superior Engineering strategy.

- You will plan and allocate resources and budgets to Engineering projects or activities.

- You will drive the development of the design rules and procedures for Distribution Transformers Engineering, adhering to regional laws and regulations.

- You will ensure a proficient and capable workforce to conduct the Engineering activities in time and quality.

- You will participate in the national (CSA) and international (ANSI/IEEE, NEMA, etc.) standards for the distribution transformer.

What You Bring

- You have an Electrical Engineering degree with +10 years’ experience in the Transformers business or other relevant and connected experience

- You have proven leadership skills with coaching and developing people with management experience managing a technical team such as Engineering, R&D, Quality, Operational Excellence.

- You have a strong knowledge in process improvement methodologies, and problem-solving tools.

- You are experienced in managing of development of tools and methods to improve efficiency and productivity.
