Florida Georgia Pole Setters LLC. is a local, fast-growing, family owned and operated pole setting, and auguring service, based in Lake City, FL. We serve Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee, and the Carolinas.

This is a full-time opening for a Digger Derrick Operator. You MUST have experience operating and maintaining a Digger Derrick.

The Digger Derrick Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used for pole setting and auguring, as well as performing equipment inspections before and after use.

Most weeks work Monday - Thursday (some Fridays may be required)

Qualifications

- MUST have experience operating and maintaining a Digger Derrick

- MUST be at least 21 years of age for insurance

- MUST pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, background check, and License (MVR) check

- MUST have valid CDL-B (CDL-A preferred)

- MUST have 3 years of verifiable experience

- Must be comfortable working outside in various climates, and weather conditions

- Some travel is required

- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to machinery operation

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

- Physical strength and stamina to perform the job duties

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills

- Certification in NCCCO or other relevant licensure is a plus

- High school diploma or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
