The

will be fully responsible for leading U.S.-based BESS projects in the Eastern Region through all development phases. He or she will work closely with each of the three pillars of Utility-Scale Development, East (Project Development, Business Development, and Land Acquisition). The individual will assess the viability of project feasibility, secure land control, coordinate applications for interconnection, and enable environmental, permitting, and transmission reviews. The primary objective of the position is to deliver high-quality BESS projects are holistically de-risked pre-NTP. The Development Manager, BESS will lead all aspects of his or her project portfolio, both externally and internally. Externally, you will build relationships with landowners, community members, regulators, and local government officials to gain project support.

Pay range:

The annual base salary range for this position in New York is $132,000 - $197,000. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. RWE considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s education & work experience, training & certifications, and key skills as well as market and business considerations at the time of the offer.
