The Opportunity:
Do you have a passion for troubleshooting, technology and customer service? At Canadian Natural, a Deskside Support Analyst provides end-user support for application and hardware related issues escalated from first-level support (the Service Desk). With your professional, calm and positive attitude and your technical expertise you will be relied upon to solve diverse client-based tasks, support executive level meetings and resolve any real time video conferencing or technical issues. With exposure across the entire organization, you will have the opportunity to build and maintain effective business relationships with end-users in field locations and the corporate head office.

Key Accountabilities:
•Provide incident support and resolve application issues through troubleshooting
•Maintain and build positive relationships with customers and other IS members through regular communications and visits
•Provide meeting room support including video conferencing, visualization, and geoscience rooms
•Support tier one teams through effective documentation skills and creation of knowledge base articles when solutions are found
•Monitor Remedy queues for new tickets and update, resolve and escalate issues to third level support as required
•Solve complex problems with innovative solutions and communicate proposed solutions to IS and business staff
What You Bring to the Role:
•3+ years of related Information Systems troubleshooting experience
•IT certification (Examples: A+, Microsoft, CompTIA, Network +, Server +, ITIL, HDI, ETC) and a relevant degree or diploma would be considered an asset
•Experience supporting Oil and Gas applications (e.g., Accumap, WellView, Petrel), printers, scanners, laptops, smart phones, and peripheral devices
•A strong understanding of Microsoft Windows 11 / Office 365, and demonstrated experience troubleshooting issues with: file systems, permissions, services, remote access tools and registry structures
•Experience with print server administration, Web Jetadmin and printer firewalls is also an asset
