Our customer base is very diverse, and the energy industry is in a state of extreme transition and growth, so our design team is very busy creating unique solutions for the US market. Looking for someone who is self-motivated, task oriented, has attention for details, team player and/or independently, strong communication and computer skills, and the ability to learn new things on the fly. A typical day will have a variety of activities including Computer aided Drafting and Design, acquiring part number, creating manufacturing support documentation, collaborating with engineering department on designs, and helping support shop production as needed. While there are routine activities, every day brings a different set of challenges.

About the Team

This drafting/design group is an integral part of the engineering team for the high voltage circuit breaker product that is manufactured in the factory located in Richland, MS USA. Our team performs the engineering work for product design and order engineering. We interact heavily with other engineering teams within the Switchgear Americas region that produce like product and are part of the global Products group for Grid Technologies within Siemens Energy, Inc.
