Deepwater Crane Operator

Overview:

A Deepwater Crane Operator is responsible for safely operating and maintaining cranes on an offshore procurement platform in the Gulf of America.

Responsibilities:

- Operate levers and pedals to control the crane.

- Follow hand signals to raise, lower, and rotate the boom or load.

- Lift and move equipment or material on the platform and between boats in various sea conditions.

- Maintain and clean crane equipment.

- Provide leadership to construction riggers.

- Conduct safety and operation inspections of the crane.

Qualifications:

- High School diploma or equivalent required.

- Real ID driver's license or current U.S. passport.

- 5+ years of prior offshore crane operating experience.

- Crane Operator Certification.

- Current C/O physical.

- Previous experience operating Seatrax Hydraulic cranes.

- Deepwater crane operating experience on a floating facility required.

- Decommissioning experience a plus.

- Willing to assist with other activities when not operating the crane.

- Mechanical experience or aptitude.
