Crane Operator

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of cranes and heavy machinery, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for lifting, moving, and placing materials in construction or industrial settings. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of projects while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Duties

- Operate cranes to lift, move, and position loads in accordance with project specifications.

- Most have NCCO Certification

- Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly and safely.

- Collaborate with ground crew and other operators to coordinate lifts and ensure safety protocols are followed.

- Maintain clear communication with team members using hand signals or radio equipment.

- Perform routine maintenance on cranes and report any mechanical issues to supervisors.

- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while operating equipment.

- Assist in the training of new operators as needed.

- Keep work areas organized and free of hazards.

- Guaranteed 32 hours per week pay

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Crane Operator or in a similar role involving heavy machinery operation.

- Knowledge of various types of cranes including Tanker, Dump truck, Concrete mixer, Front loader truck, and Backhoe operation.

- Familiarity with farm machinery and Caterpillar equipment is a plus.

- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and basic maintenance tasks.

- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

- Valid certification for crane operation is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is required.

- Commitment to following safety protocols and procedures at all times.

Pay: $23.26 - $35.00 per hour
