Expected salary range of $90,900 to $101,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
Primary Purpose Of Position
The Data Governance Analyst (Transformation) will report into the Digital Transformation Office and serve as a business-facing representative responsible for data stewardship within a transformation-focused domain. This position performs responsibilities aligned with both Business and Technical Data Steward roles in alignment with Constellation’s enterprise data governance framework. The role collaborates with business stakeholders, Product, Legal, IT Data Transformation, and the Enterprise Data Governance Office (EDGO) to support the definition, prioritization, and execution of data governance policies, data quality standards, and data stewardship practices. This individual plays a key role in supporting data strategy, mitigating data risks, and ensuring that data related to customer, account, contact, and opportunity entities meets enterprise operational, regulatory, and strategic needs enabling scalable, digital, and AI-powered innovation.
Primary Duties And Accountabilities
- Support prioritization of business-relevant data domains, subdomains, and assets (e.g., customer, contact, account hierarchies).
- Define and validate authoritative sources for critical data across systems (e.g., Salesforce, Genesis, REPS, and external enrichments).
- Monitor and help resolve critical data quality, metadata, or duplication issues that impact operational effectiveness or transformation goals.
- Assist in identifying data gaps and proposing data improvement opportunities as part of transformation initiatives.
- Support implementation and adherence to data governance policies as defined by enterprise standards and supported by the Enterprise Data Governance Office (EDGO).
- Maintain data ownership assignments and data stewardship documentation within transformation-supported systems.
- Assist in applying classification, retention, and access control rules in coordination with Legal, Cybersecurity, and platform owners.
- Participate in data stewardship forums to elevate domain-level data risks and priorities.
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Enterprise Data Governance Office (EDGO) to support regulatory alignment and audit readiness.
- Support data-related inputs for risk assessments and transformation planning.
- Monitor and report on business impact related to metadata gaps, access control issues, or exceptions.
- Contribute to documentation needed for audits, compliance reviews, and policy exception tracking.
- Assist with backlog remediation, metadata enrichment, and business rule documentation.
- Serve as the transformation domain’s representative in working groups, data stewardship councils, or forums for issue escalation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field
- 2-years of experience in data analysis, operations, or data stewardship functions
- Familiarity with enterprise systems and tools (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Purview, ERP, CRM)
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across business and IT teams and articulate data-related requirements
- Strong attention to detail and working knowledge of metadata, data quality, data classification, and policy enforcement frameworks, with a focus on data accuracy and documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to support documentation, presentations, and stakeholder engagement
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, SOX, HIPAA)
- Experience supporting data governance, data quality, or digital transformation initiatives
- Understanding of data classification, retention, and access control practices
- Familiarity with Azure, SQL, or Power BI platforms
- Experience using or supporting Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Informatica Data Quality, Alation or other data governance tools
