Position Summary
The Oceaneering Ocean Technologies (OTECH) group is seeking a Data Management Analyst to provide support in the administration and oversight of data management principles in support of OTECH programs.
The Data Management Analyst position will require organizational skills as well as focus and attention to detail.
The Data Management Analyst is a core member of the OTECH Integrated Product Support (IPS) team. The Data Management Analyst reports to the Configuration and Data Manager. The Data Management Analyst will work with all levels within the IPS organization as well as with individuals from the program and engineering staff to ensure quality support and customer satisfaction. The Data Management Analyst is a hybrid position located in Hanover, MD.
Duties And Responsibilities
The Data Management Analyst will support OTECH programs and execute the following:

- Responsible for data management activities.
- Create and maintain program data library asset databases.
- Ensure timely and accurate release of deliverables and program documents.
- Coordinate with document authors and project managers to ensure deadlines and special handling requirements are met for on-time quality delivery.
- Provide education on naming conventions and document format standards.
- Promote consistency in naming conventions and documentation standards across multiple projects.
- Identify and correct usage errors and edit deliverables for grammar, spelling, and formatting consistency.
- Conduct all aspects of documentation management and data management for multiple projects.
- Review and report on program data metrics to benchmark effectiveness.
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to upgrading standards and best practice guidelines.
- Develop and implement review cycle plans, ensuring proper marking of classified documents according to required standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, business management, or an equivalent field.
- 0-2 years of practical experience in Data Management.
- Familiar with data management principles.
- Organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge and experience in managing documentation libraries.
- Working knowledge of SharePoint Administration.
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications and database management.
- Skilled in time management, oral comprehension, reading comprehension, speaking, written comprehension, information ordering, active listening, critical thinking, and deductive reasoning.
- Ability to write business correspondence and interact with others in a professional manner.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain security clearance.
- Ability to work independently under general direction.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and communicate effectively within the organization.
- Knowledge of MIL-STD-963C, GEIA-859, and DoD 5010.12-M for Data Management.
- Effective presentation and computer skills.
- Secret clearance.
Additional Information
This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.
Pay, Benefits And Work Schedule
We offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package. Annualized pay rate for this position : $63,750- $86,250.
