- Data Entry and Management:
- Accurately set up and maintain new customer accounts in the system.
- Enter, update, and maintain catalog information, ensuring data is consistent and current.
- Regularly audit catalog data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Catalog Maintenance:
- Create, update, and manage product lists within the catalog, including new item additions, price updates, and descriptions.
- Ensure catalog items meet company standards for formatting, descriptions, and data quality.
- Collaborate with product and sales teams to verify and update product information.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Generate reports and summaries as needed to support catalog and customer data requests.
- Document data entry processes, catalog updates, and customer setup guidelines.
- Cross-Departmental Support:
- Work closely with sales, purchasing, and customer service teams to ensure that catalog data aligns with company needs and supports customer satisfaction.
- Assist with ad hoc data requests and projects related to catalog management.
- Experience:
- Previous experience in a data entry or catalog management role is preferred.
- Experience in inventory management, retail, or e-commerce environments is a plus.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, sorting/filtering, data validation).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage repetitive tasks efficiently while maintaining high accuracy.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members across departments.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or catalog management systems is a plus.
