Summary: Data Analyst - HSE Group
•
This position is responsible for gaining information, insight, and trends on our safety data to drive safety improvement and reduce risk for the organization.
•
This role will need to be creative to look for new patterns and trends, sometimes taking a new perspective on existing solutions to improve performance, efficiency and safety.
•
The ability to manipulate and understand the data analyzed and resolve sophisticated problems are keys to success!
•
Knowledge of Database, SQL, Power BI, data analysis, data mining, data transformation.
Responsibilities/Expectations:
•
Designs, develops, and implements databases, data collection systems and other strategies to optimize efficiency and quality
•
Acquires data from data sources to maintain our databases/data systems
•
Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in data sets
•
Reviews our metrics data and interprets results
•
Develops and generates reports and data visualization dashboards Collaborates with business partners to identify and interpret internal/external customer needs, assess requirements and identify responses.
•
1 - 3 years experience in oil & gas is required.
•
Bachelor degree required.
•
Will work in office Monday - Thursday with the option to work remotely on Friday.
