Cleans and maintains all samples cylinders in preparation for distribution.
- Read and understand all analysis Must comply with Safety Responsibilities explained in the Safety Responsibility Policy (CA-ADMR-S24).
- Performs duties as per “Cylinder Standard Operating Procedures and Forms”.
- Maintains cylinder cleaning equipment and performs daily and quarterly housekeeping and calibration.
- Maintain compliance with the Health, Safety, and Quality Management Systems requirements.
- Contribute to the effectiveness of the Management Systems, including improvement of performance and reduction of nonconformities
- Cleans and maintains all samples cylinders in preparation for distribution to clients, filed personnel, sales and laboratory staff.
- Receives and keeps an accurate record of all cylinder orders and to fill orders in a prompt manner.
- Refills solvents and chemicals and maintains consumables requesting restocking when necessary.
- Disposes of all waste from cylinders and places labeled drums in the solvent shed.
- Arranges and carries out cylinder exchanges with other laboratories.
- When discussed with supervisor, works overtime if necessary to meet cylinder order requirements.
- Assist in Shipping/Receiving and in Waste Management, as required
- A high school diploma or equivalent required
- Two years of related combined experience and education
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

- Laboratory Technicians must meet the following physical qualifications.
- Be able to work in the presence of odors typical of petroleum or petrochemicals without allergic reactions or nausea. When such odors are within OSHA-designated permissible exposure limits (PELs).
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk or hear; and test or smell. The employee frequently is required to walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms.

- This position resides within a normal office working environment. International travel will be required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee may also be exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals in some work areas. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
