Responsibilities: Location: Remote position with 10% - 20% travel to Field Regional Offices The Cygnet SCADA Administrator will be responsible for the maintenance of the Cygnet SCADA systems by collecting, managing, and distributing data related to the automated field measurement and maintaining the integrity of the data being collected, as well as providing day-to-day support for oil and gas field operations within the Cygnet system. The general responsibilities of the Cygnet SCADA Analyst are Customer facing by providing Cygnet administration support directly to oil and gas field offices Managing day-to-day tasks through the ServiceNow work management platform Troubleshooting and correcting erroneous and/or missing Cygnet data Performing point-to-point verification of Cygnet facilities with field I&E teams Create and/or modify devices, facilities, and points in accordance with field meter equipment change requests Assist with the management of alarm assignments and notifications within Cygnet Leverage existing knowledge of electronic meters and various remote monitoring devices to edit and/or create Cygnet device templates Provide timely data to the accounting and measurement groups to ensure month-ending closing deadlines are met Oversee the data collection in Cygnet to verify and maintain the SCADA data integrity Work with various departments to provide data reports to and from SCADA systems Participate in on-call support rotation Any other job-related duty as deemed appropriate by management Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in MIS/CS/CE with 2+ years’ experience in oil/gas SCADA OR 3 years Cygnet experience in oil/gas SCADA or field measurement Strong customer service, analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate both written and verbal Working knowledge of Cygnet client-side applications Ability to travel to Field and Corporate offices up to 10% - 20% PREFERRED SKILLS: Working knowledge of oil & gas equipment and systems Working knowledge of Cygnet administration utility applications Working knowledge of Cygnet SCADA HMI / UI Design and Development Working knowledge of Cygnet’s Flow Measurement Service (FMS) and support tools Working knowledge of database systems, including SQL queries and report building Programming experience with scripting languages such as VB, VB Script, PowerShell or similar Familiarity with communication protocols, radios, and networking Familiarity with Microsoft products including Azure platform, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft SQL Server, SharePoint, and Office applications Familiarity with project management principals and frameworks Physical Requirements/Work Environment: Work in this position is primarily based in an office where there is no exposure to extreme hot/cold temperatures which is well-lit and relatively free from dangerous working conditions.
