What You Will Do

Provide incident monitoring (impacting one user/small group) related to security infrastructure and support and perform tasks necessary to ensure timely remediation for protection of information assets.

Monitor, triage, and diagnose security events as part of a security operations center.

Escalate security events within the ONE Gas environment.

Help coordinate appropriate stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve.

Complete tasks assigned to accomplish approved security infrastructure and security configuration changes.

Collaborate with other IT and security personnel on security technology and support issues. Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.

Employee may perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

What You Will Need

Preferred Bachelor's Degree Cybersecurity, information assurance, MIS, computer science, other related field

Working knowledge of current security technologies.

Working knowledge of supporting the following: Desktop/laptop hardware, operating system and endpoint applications

Knowledge of Active Directory, permission hierarchy and group policy management

Event monitoring, logging and alert correlation techniques for system and network logs

Experience with the application of arithmetic and computer math.

Experience or training relative to:

Knowledge regarding how to investigate, assess, identify, research and remediate security issues and perform risk and vulnerability assessments.

Research, prepare, and compose security operations center (SOC) procedures and documentation, reports and correspondence.

Interact, advise, guide, train and communicate effectively.

Read and write fluently in English

Preferred Applicable driver's license

Preferred Comp TIA A+, Network+, or Security+ Certifications

Mobility to travel in and around office facilities system wide.

Communicate and exchange information or instructions.

Visual ability sufficient to perform job responsibilities.
