Big Sky Propane is a new start up company with over 30 years of experience behind it. The Owner Richard Coon and his three Children Austin, David and Courtney currently run a 30 year old company in NY called First Fuel and Propane(check us out online). We love Montana so much that we decided to branch out of NY and start a company in it.
We are looking for someone to work in our First Fuel and Propane office in NY that will take calls and set up propane accounts for our location in Big Sky Montana. We are looking for an outgoing, driven and enthusiastic individual to join our inside sales/customer service team! The individual we are looking for will have excellent communication skills and be a “people person”.
- Customer Experience: Handling incoming calls from both potential and existing customers. Part sales and part account manager.
- Master of Multitasking: Handling incoming calls from a diverse range of customers while simultaneously managing ongoing projects and service requests.
- Project Coordination: You’ll not just take the call—you’ll own the project, coordinating HVAC work, scheduling installations, and following through until the job is done.
- Account Management: Keep customer accounts up to date, process requests, and ensure follow-ups happen on time, every time.
- Proposal & Quote Management: You’ll be responsible for sending out proposals, tracking responses, and following up with potential clients to close deals.
- Technology Skills: Seamlessly work between multiple software platforms, tracking jobs, billing, and customer requests without missing a beat.

We are continuing to grow as a business and are looking for long term reliable employees. Our sales office is based just outside of Hudson, New York. We operate Monday thru Friday and our hours of operation are 10 am – 6:30 pm.
