The Customer Service Coordinator serves as a key point of contact between the company and its customers, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction. This role is responsible for managing customer inquiries, resolving issues efficiently, coordinating with internal teams, and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicative, and committed to delivering a positive customer experience while supporting operational efficiency.
Job Description
•Handle incoming phone calls and emails from internal and external customers.
•Contact homeowners and/or builder customer service representatives to schedule work. Includes but not limited to updating customers’ websites with pertinent scheduling information.
•Obtain new work orders from customers and create orders in Carpets N More’s RFMS database[EL1] .
•Manage individual workflow on Power BI dashboards.
•Troubleshoot jobs that are in progress and tactfully come up with a resolution to ensure the job can be completed by the customer’s request. Tracking installers for jobs that are in progress, to ensure that we are on time for the appointment committed arrival time.
•Obtain completed work orders from installers and/or install managers. Includes not limited to uploading documents to customer’s website and/or Carpets N More’s database.
•Prepare paperwork and dispatch for next day installations.
This position will be performed in an office setting. Requires extensive sitting with periodic standing and walking. May be required to lift to 10 pounds unassisted. Requires significant use of computer, telephone, and general office equipment. Needs adequate visual acuity and ability to grasp and handle objects. Needs ability to communicate effectively through reading, writing, and speaking in-person or on the telephone. May be required to travel to various locations and/or travel off-site.
