Custom Millwork Fabricator / Cabinet Maker

Northwest Cabinet Works is looking for an experienced Custom Millwork Fabricator to join our team of craftsmen dedicated to high-end commercial and residential architectural woodwork. We specialize in custom cabinetry, panel systems, and architectural millwork packages throughout the Northwest region.
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with proven experience in architectural millwork, including complex assemblies and high-touch finishes.
Key Responsibilities:
•Fabricate and assemble custom architectural millwork components per shop drawings and specifications.
•Build and lay up countertops (solid surface, laminate, and wood).
•Construct detailed assemblies such as reception desks, nurse stations, die-walls, and custom feature pieces.
•Produce and assemble 5-piece doors, frameless cabinetry, and specialty components.
•Interpret technical drawings and ensure builds meet high standards of fit and finish.
•Collaborate with engineers and project managers to resolve design details and construction challenges.
•Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure safety and quality protocols are met.
Required Experience & Skills:
•3+ years of architectural millwork and cabinetry experience in a shop setting.
•Proficiency with tools and machinery used in custom fabrication (table saws, routers, edge banders, etc.).
•Ability to read and interpret detailed shop drawings and specifications.
•Familiarity with die-wall assemblies, reception desks, nurse stations, and commercial millwork standards.
•Solid understanding of material handling, glue-up techniques, and wood species characteristics.
•Experience with 5-piece door construction and traditional joinery.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience in both commercial and high-end residential projects.
•Solid surface fabrication or installation experience is a plus.
•CNC knowledge is beneficial but not required.
