The Casing Running Tool Technician will be responsible for accurately and efficiently performing diversified tasks relating to product assembly, training and installation of the Casing Running Tool.
- Comply with and participate in Company Safety and Quality Programs
- Promote a safe and quality environment in which to work
- Troubleshoot and repair or overhaul CRT equipment to include upper and lower module and hydraulic control. Also will be responsible for providing technical experience and techniques to other areas of the company as needed.
- Inspect all equipment used and perform preventive maintenance checks and service notify supervisors of required repairs
- Schedule work flow for continuing daily progress
- Overtime as required to meet Customer schedules
- Maintain and complete documentation including detailed service and expense reports measure and record technical data as tasks are completed, inspect documentation prior to the job closure.
- Technician will be required to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Technician will also have involvement with the installation of Top Drive components.
- Perform repairs using proper tools and procedures
- Maintain Company issued tools and be knowledgeable and skillful in the use of these tools
- Must have high level of knowledge and experience of rig floor operations.
- Must have knowledge of running and handling of casing and related casing tools.
- The selected candidate should have minimum 2 years' experience operating casing running tool.
- Must be able to recognize and correct any hazards and safety issues related to picking up, rigging up and rigging down heavy equipment.
