Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with 1 Week On / 1 Week Off 24-Hour On-Call Rotation (Including Weekends)

The Air Tools Technician is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of pneumatic tools, including but not limited to rivet busters, impact wrenches, and bandsaws. This role ensures all tools are in safe, reliable working condition to support operations. The technician will also maintain accurate service records and adhere to company safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect, diagnose, and repair pneumatic (air-powered) tools such as rivet busters, impact wrenches, bandsaws, and other related equipment.

- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and part replacement to extend tool life and maintain peak performance.

- Troubleshoot mechanical and pneumatic issues using technical manuals, schematics, and testing equipment.

- Disassemble and reassemble air tools as required, ensuring proper calibration and performance after repair.

- Document all repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used in accordance with company procedures.

- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.

- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure tools are available and in service when needed.

- Stay current on new tool technology, repair methods, and manufacturer updates.

- Adhere to all WFA safety guidelines and actively support a positive, safety-first, and improvement-oriented work culture.

- Foster strong working relationships with vendors, colleagues, and field personnel to support efficient operations and communication.

- Provide cross-functional support by working in different shop areas and assisting with various job functions as operational needs arise.

- Participate in a rotating 24-hour on-call schedule, one week on and one week off, including availability during nights and weekends.
