CPM - Commercial Project Manager

The Commercial Project Manager is an integral part of the Finance team for the Gas Services Central business organization. In this role you will work together with the Project Manager to implement and complete large Power Plant Projects typically ranging from $80M - $300M!

How You’ll Make an Impact

- Work in collaboration with Project manager to ensure accurate project costs and pricing according to defined guidelines.

- Build and maintain the financial framework for projects based on contractual agreements during the ongoing execution phase.

- Responsible for project financials including monthly revenue recognition in compliance with defined guidelines and cash flow/payment plan and ensure timely generation of customer invoices.

- Full responsibility for all finance-related Project topics, including but not limited to handling Accounting, Legal, Tax, Foreign Exchange, and NCM

- Perform financial planning, assess risk and opportunities for financial impact while mitigating risk and optimizing profit margins.

- Prepare project review package and present on quarterly basis to executive management.

- Ensure achievement of contract requirements (e.g. performance guarantees, insurance, taxes, etc.); Face to the Customer and direct Customer interaction for Contractual topics or change order negotiations.

- Special assignments and interaction with external auditors for audit topics as the need arises.

What You Bring

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/ Business Administration/ Accounting or related field is required.

- 5+ years of professional experience in Business Administration or in Finance, preferably with experience in Project Management; Candidates with more years of experience may be eligible for a higher-level position.

- Solid understanding of US GAAP/IFRS and Percentage of Completion (PoC) accounting, with sophisticated Microsoft Office skills required; SAP experience is highly desirable. Proven problem-solving ability, strong communication skills, and the capability to multitask and meet deadlines in both independent and team environments.

- Must be able to travel up to 10% and have (or be able to acquire) a valid passport.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
