This position provides support to the Corporate Human Resources Team and works closely with all plant location HR staff. A primary focus of this role is to oversee several specialized functions such as training and development, salaried recruiting, employee retention, and HR special projects.
Essential Duties & Functions
•Leads the recruiting effort for salaried positions at the corporate level and assists other locations with difficult to fill positions at off-site locations.
•Develops effective new hire orientation programs, including mentor program.
•Creates and distribute corporate new hire and promotion announcements.
•Maintains Position Qualification Records.
•Assists in creating retention initiatives.
•Administers Stay Interview Program.
•Assists with succession planning initiatives.
•Works in cooperation with Corporate HR Generalist and serves as payroll backup and benefits backup.
•Assists with HRIS updates as needed.
•Assists with annual benefits open enrollment.
•Acts as a lead advisor for escalated plant labor relations issues.
•Manages company social media accounts as it relates to employee milestones and recruiting.
•Partner with employees and managers to assess and analyze learning needs based on performance and needs assessment data.
•Takes a lead role in creating and maintaining salaried training and development program.
•Assists in maintaining LMS (Learning Management System).
•Keeps abreast of human resource trends, labor laws and other related HR issues.
•Assists legal counsel with special requests.
•Heads special project initiatives either autonomously or as part of a team.
•Other HR duties as assigned.
Education, Skills, and Experience
•A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Human Resources, or similar curriculum required.
•PHR and/or SHRM-CP preferred.
•3 to 5 years of Human Resources experience preferred.
•Prior experience using ADP WorkforceNow (HRIS, Payroll, Applicant Tracking, Recruiting, Reporting, Performance Management) preferred.
•Prior experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) required.
•Advanced level Excel and analytic skills.
•Familiarity with Federal, State, and Local employment laws preferred. (states include PA, OH, NY)
•Experience with internal training and learning and development programs.
•Excellent planning, organizing, time management and communication skills are necessary, along with understanding the need to properly secure sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality with the personal and employment related data that is maintained in the company’s files and recordkeeping systems.

•Regularly required to communicate, both orally and in writing; occasionally required to speak on the telephone for extended periods of time.
•Frequently required to sit; occasionally required to bend, stoop, kneel, stand and walk.
•Regularly required to use hands to type, grasp, handle, or feel; reach, push or pull with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
•Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
•Regularly required to demonstrate a high degree of attention to details, quality standards and accuracy.
•Must have the ability to handle and organize multiple priorities and deadlines.
•Must have the ability to travel occasionally, less than 10% of the time spent working in this position.
