Position Overview

To act as a strategic advisor and partner to client groups by delivering integrated HR and labour relations solutions that align with organizational goals, comply with legal and collective agreement frameworks, and foster a high-performance, engaged workforce.


In this role, you will:

Provide expert HR and labour relations advice to client groups.

Support strategic planning and organizational development initiatives.
Lead or support grievance investigations and resolutions.
Interpret and apply collective agreements, employment legislation, and company policies.
Contribute to the development of HR frameworks, policies, and best practices.
Provide strategic guidance on recruitment, development, performance, compensation, and attendance to ensure compliance with collective agreements, policies, and employment laws.
Support change management and employee engagement strategies.

Relationship Building:* Builds trust and credibility with stakeholders and fosters collaborative partnerships.


Requirements

A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of HR advisory experience in a unionized environment.
CPHR designation preferred.
Strong knowledge of employment legislation and labour relations practices.
Proven experience in conflict resolution, investigations, and negotiations.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems


Additional Information


Occasional travel throughout BC will be required.

In this role, you will have the option to participate in a flexible work program, enabling you to work from an approved flex location in British Columbia up to 85 days a year (equivalent to approximately two days a week), subject to business or operational needs.
