A Convenience Store Clerk is responsible for providing excellent customer service while maintaining the daily operations of a convenience store. This role includes handling transactions, stocking shelves, keeping the store clean, and ensuring customers have a positive shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
•Greet and assist customers in a friendly manner
•Operate cash register and handle cash, credit, and lottery payments
•Stock shelves, coolers, and displays with merchandise
•Monitor inventory levels and alert management when supplies run low
•Clean and maintain the store’s interior and exterior, including restrooms
•Follow health and safety regulations (e.g., food handling, age-restricted sales)
•Assist in receiving and organizing deliveries
•Report suspicious activity or theft to management
•Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly
