The
Contract Specialistplays a key role in drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts throughout their lifecycle. This role ensures that contracts support organizational objectives, mitigate risks, and comply with applicable regulations, while serving as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, amendments, and renewals in alignment with business and legal standards.
- Advise internal teams on contractual obligations, risks, and negotiation strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure contract terms meet operational and financial requirements.
- Maintain and manage a centralized contract repository with accurate documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Track key milestones and deliverables and proactively address potential issues.
- Support process improvements for efficiency and effectiveness in contract management.
- Bachelor’s degree in law, Business, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
- 3–5 years of direct experience in contract negotiation and management.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement practices, and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated negotiation, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools is preferred.
