Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Contract Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional negotiation skills, a thorough understanding of contract law, and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.
Duties
•Draft, review, and negotiate contracts in accordance with organizational policies and legal standards.
•Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for contract development.
•Monitor contract performance and compliance, addressing any issues that arise during the contract lifecycle.
•Provide guidance and support to team members regarding contractual obligations and best practices.
•Conduct risk assessments related to contracts and propose mitigation strategies.
•Maintain accurate records of all contracts, amendments, and correspondence.
•Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to contract management.
Experience
•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
•Proven experience as a Contract Specialist or similar role with a strong understanding of contract law.
•Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
•Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in reviewing complex documents.
•Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
•Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
•Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
