About This Job

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy equipment operation and a strong understanding of construction site protocols. As a Dump Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites, ensuring safe and efficient operations while adhering to all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

•

Operate a dump truck to transport materials such as soil, gravel, and debris to and from construction sites.

•

Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.

•

Collaborate with construction site teams to understand material needs and delivery schedules.

•

Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper weight distribution.

•

Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.

•

Follow all safety protocols while operating heavy equipment on-site.

•

Assist in other heavy equipment operations as needed, including bulldozers and backhoes.

•

Perform basic mechanical checks and maintenance on the dump truck to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications

•

Proven experience operating dump trucks or similar heavy equipment.

•

Familiarity with construction site operations and safety protocols.

•

Mechanical knowledge for basic troubleshooting and maintenance of vehicles.

•

Ability to operate additional equipment such as Caterpillar machinery, bulldozers, backhoes, or water trucks is a plus.

•

Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members on-site.

•

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

•

Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with construction work.
