Truck Driver Class B CDL

Goedecke is one of the country’s largest private distributors of construction materials, and currently has an opening for a Truck Driver in the Columbia, Missouri area. The Truck Driver/Yard position is a valued member of the shipping and receiving operations. This job will primarily consist of local and regional vehicle operations involving positioning and moving trucks and trailers on and between construction and maintenance facilities.

The position requires employees to work in a variety of weather conditions. This position is outside all year round. Due to the operating conditions of the position, this is considered a safety sensitive position.

No more nights or weekends! Monday thru Friday 7:30 am to 4:00PM

Essential Functions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

When not driving perform yard duties such as; Assist with loading and unloading of merchandise.

Read, pick and pack customer, transfer and rental orders.

Check and identify PO numbers and labels to ensure order accuracy.

Move merchandise or supplies using Forklift. (Forklift license preferred not required).

Maintain and manage inventory control.

Ensure merchandise is organized and accessible by keeping shelves, pallet and work area clean neat.

Limited facilities work may be required including but not limited to sweep, dust and mop.

Work Environment

The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of weather conditions. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.

Travel

Travel is primarily regional during the business day.

Education and/or Certifications (Company is willing to train and help individual to get the proper certifications and licenses).
