Job Overview
Sellers Contracting Company is looking for 2 dynamic Class B Truck Drivers to join their team! If you are safe, and operate at a high level of customer service, we are interested in receiving your application today!
Responsibilities
•
Operate and drive different types of trucks, including roll-off trucks, dump trucks, and flatbeds.
•
Load and unload freight as required, ensuring proper handling of materials.
•
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
•
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other necessary documentation.
•
Follow designated routes while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies.
•
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
•
Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck both inside and out.
Requirements
•
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class B).
•
Proven experience in truck driving with a solid understanding of load unloading procedures.
•
Familiarity with manual and automatic transmission.
•
Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to freight transportation.
•
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
•
Excellent time management skills with a focus on punctuality for deliveries.
•
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 50 per week
