Lowbed -Haul Truck Driver Class A Drivers

CLASS A DUMP-HAUL TRUCK DRIVER-/LOWBED TRAILER/EQUIPMENT HAULER

Responsible for safely loading and hauling heavy equipment such as loaders, scrapers, excavators and compactors. Must be able to load equipment and secure for transportation to and from the job sites. Operates Peterbilt/Kenworth Truck and Murray Trailer and/or Combo Trailer with 5axle/7axle. Must Conduct Routine Equipment Inspections and Preventative Maintenance on Equipment; Must Maintains accurate daily log records; Must Follow appropriate standard operating procedures as guideline for operating and maintaining truck/equipment and safety regulations; Performs other duties as assigned.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is performed both indoors and outdoors. Incumbent drives on surface streets and operates equipment on unpaved surfaces. The Truck Driver must ensure that all activities are completed in a safe and efficient way.

JOB DESCRIPTION PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Requires the mobility to perform vehicle operating duties. The Truck Driver position is a physically strenuous and demanding job. Employee will be lifting, pulling and managing heavy equipment and objects.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Previously worked as a Class A Truck Driver for low-bed haulers for a min of three (3) years working with construction equipment and is able to sufficiently operate equipment to load and offload without assistance.

PAY RATE: Pay will be based on ability and qualifications

Must Have:

CDL Class A Drivers License
