Key Responsibilities:
•Conducting construction layout and/or 3D mapping
•Using surveying and LiDAR instruments and tools to measure and map land
•Collaborating with engineers, architects, and project managers
•Ensuring all work complies with field and safety regulations and standards
•Preparing detailed reports
•Support sales team by demonstrating equipment for clients
•Provide technical support to clients
Requirements:
•Degree from technical institute or commercial college with an emphasis on surveying or civil engineering or 2-4 years in related field experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in all applications of surveying and related software
•Proficiency with surveying equipment and office software (e.g., Laser Scanners, GPS, Total Station, Theodolite)
•Strong understanding of construction processes and terminology
•Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans
•Ability to travel 50% or more
•Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
•Strong communication and teamwork skills
•Adaptable and quick learning
•Self-starter, ability to work alone or in a group setting
•Exceptional customer service
•Resourceful, reliable, responsive, punctual
•Valid driver’s license and in good standing, and a reliable vehicle
•Monday - Friday position with occasional weekend work
