Key Responsibilities:

•

Conducting construction layout and/or 3D mapping

•

Using surveying and LiDAR instruments and tools to measure and map land

•

Collaborating with engineers, architects, and project managers

•

Ensuring all work complies with field and safety regulations and standards

•

Preparing detailed reports

•

Support sales team by demonstrating equipment for clients

•

Provide technical support to clients

Requirements:

•

Degree from technical institute or commercial college with an emphasis on surveying or civil engineering or 2-4 years in related field experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in all applications of surveying and related software

•

Proficiency with surveying equipment and office software (e.g., Laser Scanners, GPS, Total Station, Theodolite)

•

Strong understanding of construction processes and terminology

•

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans

•

Ability to travel 50% or more

•

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

•

Strong communication and teamwork skills

•

Adaptable and quick learning

•

Self-starter, ability to work alone or in a group setting

•

Exceptional customer service

•

Resourceful, reliable, responsive, punctual

•

Valid driver’s license and in good standing, and a reliable vehicle

•

Monday - Friday position with occasional weekend work
