SUPERINTENDENT

We’re seeking a Construction Superintendent, Electric inHenderson CO. The Superintendent leads field operations for construction projects, overseeing crews, subcontractors, and safety compliance. This client-facing role is the primary liaison with customers and vendors. This role balances operational leadership with strategic planning, financial oversight, and employee development to drive project success. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

- Lead and manage all aspects of field operations for utility construction projects

- Plan, coordinate, and execute construction activities and project deliverables

- Serve as primary contact for customers, subcontractors, and vendors

- Oversee crews, equipment, subcontractors, and safety compliance on job sites

- Drive team performance in productivity, quality, and safety

- Recruit, mentor, and develop employees to support succession planning and career growth

- Manage employee relations and development opportunities

- Champion safety by modeling safe behavior and enforcing standards

- Lead and participate in job hazard analysis and safety briefings

- Monitor the activities of subcontractors to ensure compliance

- Analyze processes and procedures for continuous process improvement

- Monitor and improve operational processes for efficiency and effectiveness

- Manage project financials, including identifying change orders and assessing schedule impacts

- Manage the planning and executing of projects and contracts

- Perform additional duties assigned

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

- 5+ years of field experience within the Utilities Industry - 3+ years of Management experience

- OSHA 10 or higher

- Understanding of as-built drawings

- Knowledge of 811 requirements and utility marking standards

- Valid Driver’s License

- DOT Medical Card – If driving company vehicle

- Excellent Computer Skills

- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

- The physical activity required for this role includes:

- Travel as needed

- Exposure to a range of weather conditions, including hot and cold weather

- Walking on uneven and variable terrain for long periods

- Sitting for extended periods in an office environment

- Frequently standing, walking, stooping, climbing, bending and reaching

- Manual dexterity for computer use, files and office equipment

- Occasionally lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds

- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
