About This Job

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager / Engineering Site Project Engineer to oversee facility-related capital projects in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with construction or roofing experience, strong project management expertise, and a solid understanding of compliance and regulatory standards (GMP).

Key Responsibilities:

•

Lead engineering and facility projects, with a focus on construction and roofing systems

•

Collaborate with vendors for installation, commissioning, and qualification of equipment

•

Prepare capital investment requests (URS, BOD, functional specs, etc.)

•

Manage project schedules, costs, and reporting using Microsoft Project and other tools

•

Supervise contractors and ensure projects meet safety and compliance standards

•

Escalate project risks and delays to leadership in a timely manner

•

Drive continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives within the project lifecycle

Required Qualifications:

•

Master’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience)

•

PMP or other project management certification preferred

•

3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or regulated industries

•

Proven knowledge of construction methods, especially roofing systems

•

Experience working in compliance with GMP, safety standards, and CAPAs

•

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)

•

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

•

Physically able to climb ladders, stand for long periods, and work in active construction zones

Nice to Have:

•

Experience preparing technical documentation and reports for senior management

•

Familiarity with regulated industry environments and FDA/OSHA standards

•

Comfortable working cross-functionally with multiple departments and stakeholders

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

8 hour shift

•

Monday to Friday
