Project Manager
Velocity Group offers a broad scope of Surveying, Environmental and Civil Engineering services from our offices across Alberta. Qualifications
•College diploma or bachelor’s degree in geomatics
•5+ years related work experience
•Strong computer skills, especially in the Microsoft 365 environment
•Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil3D and MicroSurvey software an asset
•Excellent work ethic, flexibility, resourcefulness, maturity, and sound judgment
•Strong analytical, time management, written and verbal skills
•Strong commitment to excellence, attention to detail and professional development.
Responsibilities
•Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
•Define project tasks and resource requirements
•Manage project resource allocation
•Maintains accurate and up-to-date project status data. Analyzes, researches, and creates reports on project status
•Quality control of preliminary calculations
•Quality control of field returns
•Review plans before they are sent to the client
•Maintain timely and accurate invoicing
•Provide mentorship, guidance, leadership, motivation, and coaching to employees.
•Actively promote a rewarding, challenging and supportive work environment for team members
•Develop strong client relations
•Implements strategies to ensure that the deliverable or product meets the client requirements
